Dr Dina Petranovic is Assistant Professor in Molecular Biology and group leader at Chalmers University of Technology. Dina has her PhD in Molecular Microbiology from Université Paris XI (2000-2004) and her postdoctoral training from Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen (2004-2008). The main research subject of Dina's group is cell aging and death, in unicellular model organism Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The interest in study cellular regulations of aging and death pathways is of relevance for biomedical and applied research. Presently Dina is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Of Molecular Frontiers.
Started in 2006, Molecular Frontiers operates as a non-profit organization, hosted by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. Its Scientific Advisory Board, a group of eminent scientists including many Nobel Prize laureates, represent expertise from a wide range of molecular science disciplines
